The last minute is probably the best minute. It certainly seems that way. City remain unbeaten in the league thanks to Baka doing what he does best: unexpected goal.
The Lamptey chaps work through the enjoyable Doncaster game and have a think about how things are looking for us after ten games.
Thanks lads – good stuff as ever…
On Kastenaar – if played for 90 minutes he’d do all the things Jobello doesn’t. He’d beat the right-back, get to the bye-line & play the cut-back or hard, low ball across the face of goal. And he’d mix it up with the cut inside & drive into the box with the ball at his feet for a shot or an assist. If only he could do more than 20 minutes…
On Mc;Fadzean – despite being signed for his ability to play out from the back he doesn’t seem to quite understand the concept. Doncaster scored a very good goal on the break. McFadzean’s sloppy play out from defence very nearly gifted Donny two more – it appears to be a serial failing. I’d like to see Rose alongside Hyam.
On Hiwula – just frustrating….he keeps messing up. That goal he scored from Shipper’s sublime defence splitting pass – he did his very best not to score, he made it as hard for himself as he possibly could when Jordan had put it on a plate for him…
Which leads to Shippers. I’ve always rated him for his dynamism. Always felt we are a better side with him in the team. This season he’s really stepped it up – he’s doing the job.
Best regards,
Robbie Leslie
